Dr. Ernest B. Lightsey
FOUNDER AND SENIOR PASTOR
Dr. Ernest B. Lightsey, Jr. founded Word of Faith Fellowship Church (WOFFC) in 2003, located in Overland Park, Kansas. He teaches a solid, Bible-based, uncompromised Word of God. He is an author, mentor, and an encouraging pastor, who supports God's people with solid leadership, love, patience and kindness.
Pastor Lightsey believes that God's people should always be treated respectfully and Believer's should lead the way with Godly character and integrity.
In ministry for over 35 years, Dr. Lightsey has served the Lord in many ministry capacities and has launched several ministries, including the teaching ministry of Caring Within Ministries (1994-2003), Caring Within Food Pantry (2008-2014), Word of Faith for Today radio broadcast, the "Faith Cares" community outreach and educational foundation, and the WOFFC Lightsey School of Leadership in 2018. He is also the author of several books on Faith, the Wisdom of God, Prayer and Prospering God's Way.
Dr. Lightsey holds a Doctorate of Divinity degree in Biblical Studies, and is a former business owner, and his wife of 35 years, Pastor Joanie Lightsey, serves alongside him in ministry.

Assistant Pastor and Church Administrator
Joan Lightsey serves alongside her husband Dr. Ernest Lightsey as Assistant Pastor and Executive Administrator of Word of Faith Fellowship Church.
Pastor Joanie leads the Sunday School department, oversees the Ministry of Helps, Women of the Word ministry, Covenant Girls, and the Faith Cares outreach ministry.
In 2018, Pastor Joanie launched the WOFFC Lightsey School of Leadership, with the first graduating class of 13 leaders. She has 35+ years of corporate experience in Finance, Training and Leadership Development, and holds degrees in Management, Finance and Economics and Management; and is a certified executive business coach and mentor.
