"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 In its simplest form, salvation is deliverance (freedom) from the authority and control of sin.
God made a way for us to be saved from our sins and may a way for mankind to be redeemed back unto Himself. Jesus Christ died for our sins so that we can receive spiritual redemption, live in divine health and experience the abundant life of prosperity (in every area of our lives) in the here and now, not just when we all get to heaven. Through the atonement of Jesus, we have been delivered from sin, sickness and disease, poverty, fear, deceptive and demonic control and spiritual death - which is eternal separation from God.
Salvation is a gift made available to all who repent, believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and that He died and rose from the dead to save mankind. This gift cannot be earned through good deeds or by simply being “good” but by believing God’s Word concerning salvation and accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior and lord over your life... by saying a simple prayer.
